I had a working 25" K7000 but colors were getting dim, and occasionally would lose sync for a second, so I decided to just start with a cap kit. Did the cap kit, fired it back up, and now its like it is not getting video signal. I can adjust screen and see raster lines, and any color drive/cut-off adjustments result in just changing the color of the entire pic. With some adjustments, I can see what looks kind of like a wood etching of the picture, like just the sync signal coming through. I have triple verified wiring of connector with RGB and ground going to pins 1-4, and Sync going to pin 10. Any ideas?

No, It's still having the same issue, and I think technically our symptoms are different. I can adjust color drive/cut-offs and I just get solid colors, no picture unless I turn all colors off, and turn contrast way up, then I just get an outline. I think I might have to ship it to an expert? Who's best for 25" K7000 repairs?

i would recommend Paul400 on here and has a fast turnaround if you send it out.

Thanks man! So it was IC1? Was it somehow the new caps that killed it?
maybe since it was a color issue I focused in that area and reflowed the solder and checked for bridged joints, found one, retested and still the same. I like to change the IC's last since they are pretty hardy, this one was bad. tested and colors are back. there is no way to really test them except to swap out. Paul
