Can I get away with this? I saw that the Weiya universal replacement chassis works on both the K7000 and polo elsewhere. I would assume that if A = C, B = C, then A = B?

Anyone done this, if so did it look ok and work ok?

Yes. I have done it and it works fine, however you may not be able to stretch the image fully vertically/horizontally. It depends on the yoke, but there aren't any compatibility issues that I know of. I have used a K7000 on a Polo tube many times with no issues.

try it like zenomorp says.

if it looks good sweet if it doesn't then it may need to be modded a bit.

some of it can be changed and some of it can't.
