so are chassis from different size K7000 monitors interchangeable? can i use this one from a 9" on a 19"? as long as the neck size and pins match up, i can't see any real differences between the two chassis.

i'd really like to test this chassis from my 9" K7704 with a vertical deflection problem (pretty sure it's the yoke,) but i don't want to stick it on a 19" if that's not going to work properly or cause damage.

I believe when this question was asked previously the general concensus was that while you might get one chassis to work with another monitor the image would be output at the size the chassis was designed for. So a 19" chassis would output a 19" image on a 25" monitor and so on. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will chime in soon enough.

yeah ive used 19" k7000 chasis on a 25" tube before(just to test the chassis and make sure they worked after repairs)

,and yes it worked fine just had a smaller pic...

assuming that the 9" yoke has the same impedence as the 19" yoke, i would assume that it would also work, but again all youd get is a 9" picture..

wtf is it out of? old 8 liner or something?

a 9" picture would be fine... i want to test the chassis to make sure it's the yoke that's causing the vertical collapse and not the chassis.
