I have a P447 K7700 model chassis which I think is for a 9" tube (didn't know this size existed) and was wondering what would have to be changed out on the board to make it work with a 19" tube.

post some pics.

strait down close to the chassis so we can see what parts are where.

try to get the area with the 3 bi-polar caps in a separate pic.

i would bet that it was from a play choice bar top.

I'll post some pix tomorrow. I compared it to a 19" 7000 and the only differences I could notice in some resistors in one section under the board. I have about 3 of these boards and all three have the same "extra" resistors.

some of those resisters are undocumented factory mods.

the one give away is by the 3 bi-polar caps.

we will see when you post pics.

I'm not sure what you mean with the 3 caps? What is the CXXX info?

What makes you think this is for a 9"? If I saw that, I'd slap it on a 19"...

The model number on the chassis sticker says 7700 which is a 9K7000 in the manual. I was thinking about throwing a fly in it and see what happens.

that chassis has a shocking resemblance to a med res chassis.

and yes those are factory mods on the bottom.

that yellow cap on the bottom is normally on the top side of some chassis but it is always there across IC2.

the single resister is almost always there.

and the 3 that are close to each other are something i haven't seen before.
