This chassis has had its share of problems. Did a complete cap kit on it. Replaced voltage regulator, C36? ( I think that's the number. It was shorting out) Q2 and Q202 transistors. Q2 shorted, Q202 wrong value.
Flyback and several other things I can't recall. This isn't my first cap kit. I figure I've done at least 40 K7000-25 chassis and probably just as many 19" ones over the past few years.

The problem I am running into is the vertical image is only about 3/4ths the correct size. I have checked C51 (the tantalum cap) and the value is correct and ESR well within tolerances. (I'd replace it but I don't have any left in any of my kits) I substituted one from a parts chassis with no affect/improvement. I've adjusted the 50/60HZ pot but that just folds the picture over and shrinks it smaller. The Vertical Size pot on the remote board seems to have no affect other than slightly shrinking the image and adjusting it up and down on the screen a small bit. The pot checks good.

Before I go and pull the Vertical circuit IC (which I hate doing due to the tight spot), I thought I would check here for any suggestions.

I shall attempt to find a new C51 cap and install it but would appreciate any ideas you might have. If you really need photos, I can provide them but don't think it will help much.

iirc theres one cap you cna change values to make the screen larger or smaller..... im gonna have to go ""hit the books"

edit-mabye not.. hell my brains goin lol

i would also make sure you have the correct value pot in the vertical height location and make sure its not cracked...

Yep. I rechecked all the cap values but shall do so again just to make sure. I was up pretty late working on this one. If you do find something in your notes, let me know. I shall post a solution once If find it.
