The K4901 is hooked up to Hyper Sports. I couldn't get full vertical so I capped it and now it's fully adjustable vertically. However I still have about an 1" or so on each side I'd like to use up.

Oddly enough adjusting the width coil has no effect. If I change the "pin out" for moving the screen it will indeed move it left or right - but alas unable to get full screen.

Here's the head scratcher. I have another K4901 chassis that "was" hooked up to a Jrok MW board. That ones display was too wide. I was attempting to SHRINK that one and the width coil did nothing on that one. Then the bitch blew out for NO apparent reason and I haven't been able to fix it since. lol

Thank you Mod.
So is Bob saying that position C365 is what needs replaced? Looking at a cap map:

I don;t see the location for this. IIRC I have what appears to be the same looking cap in the lower left hand corner of the chassis. Is that the one? I'm not in front of the monitor right now.

Or is his cap kit in it's entirety needing to be installed?

Well, a cap kit is always a good thing if the caps look old. And there are typically a lot of cold solder joints on a K4900, especially in the vertical section behind the flyback.

But the cap Bob refers to is a ceramic cap that looks like one of the ones in his picture at top. You won't see it on a cap map, because those are typically used for finding electrolytic caps.

As for C365, it is right behind the horizontal width coil...
