k4900 with molex coming off that I don't know where it goes

I have capped maybe 10 monitors, 8 of them were k4900's.

So I have seen a little variance here and there with some jumpered wires, but they are typically all the same.

This one has some wires coming out of different positions on the board, all coming together in the red molex/connector pictured below.

This is a vertical k4900, not sure that matters, but it was in a taito cab, not sure that matters either.
Guess I want/need to know, do I need this for any reason? Or can I let it just hang there after I cap it and put it back in the cab.

That is an adapter that is used for positive sync instead of neg sync. Technically it has nothing to do with the monitor, it goes with the game board.

ok, thanks. I do remember the last board in this machine was a 1945 strikers III I think.

Maybe that has relevance.
