Is there any way to adjust the vertical position of the WG 19K4903?
I've got the chassis that only has the 3 position jumper for vertical position, and with it set to the lowest position it still needs to go about an inch lower.
The monitor is in a converted Taito cabinet running Shinobi. I got the cabinet for free for a friend at work. I'm only charging him what I put into it in parts, so far about $50.
I just replaced the flyback (my first attempt) and did a cap kit, and would like to get the game out of the garage and to my friend. The new flyback has made the width way too large, but I know there's a fix for that. The vertical position didn't change, and I'd really like to move it down.
The manual states:
Rotate the Purity Magnets as a pair (without changing the angle of one magnet relative to the other) in order to center the raster on the screen vertically.
Has anyone done this? Does it work, or would I be more likely to screw up the convergence?
Tom
