K4900 No Longer in HV Shutdown, but Still not Working
ok so had another thread explaining how I capped this monitor and forgot to bolt the chassis down before rotating the monitor and the chassis shorted itself out to the frame. Screen dead.
So now I got it out of HV Shutdown. I replaced R313, R363, R506, R355 and I got this image:
i then started adjusting the Horizontal hold pot and the screen went black. Monitor is still on, but I lost image
Thoughts?
the monitor is definitely on, you can hear it. There's neck glow, but no static from the front of the tube.
should I continue replacing stuff like the Diodes D501-D506? I figure since it's no longer in HV shutdown those diodes should be fine, but maybe I'm wrong?
Q302 and Q303 Test good. I compared them to another working K4900 I have sitting here.
I was happy when I had that messed up image, at least it was something, but only lasted a minute before it went black. maybe from adjusting the pots, but I don't know. Everything looks good
