Hello there!

Noob with my first post here.

I have done a ton of reading prior to my first attempt at a tube swap. I swapped tubes on a K4914. I used the yoke from the Wells because the ohms were low on the TV tube. I have a really nice picture right out of the box. I haven't even adjusted the yoke. My problem is what I assume is foldover on the vert. I pretty sure it was there before I swapped tubes. I swapped tube because of the severe Gauntlet burn.

So is this classic foldover and will recapping most likely fix it?

Thanks for your help!

Dave

Doesn't look like foldover to me. 13 blocks across the top row, just like there should be. If it was foldover, you'd have about an inch or two of the picture compressed to a line on one side...

Your right side (top in the pic) looks to be sagging down (right). Try adjusting your horizontal hold a little...
