Ok, I recently picked up a K4600 with a broken neck. I had a 19VLTP22 tube laying around and it seemed to fit.

So I swapped it in. It showed a picture but stopped short of the top and bottom by an inch and instead curled that part of the image over.

I went ahead and recapped the whole chassis.

Looks much better but it still does that same thing. I tried a few known good sets of the plug in daughtercards and it did it with all those sets too.

Any ideas? Is the tube not compatible?

Looks like the original tube was a 19VJTP22. Should I attempt to swap the yoke too?

Yes, adjusted everything.

Luckily the original busted tube was still sitting in my backyard. I salvaged the yoke off it, switched it in (after carefully drying it off with a heat gun) and got this.

Not bad at all. Still some geometry issues, but I was able to get that just using the 3 adjustments on the deflection board.
