I did to try and find the correct footprint for some pots size and spacing, was take a piece of paper and press it to the back of the board, where the pot legs tips are. The legs poke through the paper and then you can measure the legs front to back, side to side, and everything in between.
4600 specific pots like on the neck board are no longer made and replacements must be rigged up. I heard this from Bob Roberts when I could not find matches on his site and I thought I had a couple bad ones. Mine were fine in the end, so I never replaced them.
