I have been working on a K4600 out of my Pacman for a few weeks now and I have read the 4600 manual a few times and I don't recall seeing any sync adjust. What's the monitor doing or not doing?
Here's your adjustments

There's no such thing as "sync adjust". This is just what the inexperienced call Hold Adjustment - i.e. adjusting the Vertical or Horizontal Hold to stop the picture from rolling.

Assuming the Sync Wiring is connected properly, and the monitor's caps aren't too old, and the cold solder has been taken care of, then adjusting the holds is what is needed.

CanineUrine was just answering what he MEANT to ask....

theres 2 grounds, one next to the RGB and one next to the sync input. try moving the video ground from next to the RGB, over to next to the sync input.
be sure you look at the connector schematic to verify what pin im talking about.

That is assuming he has the interface card with the negative sync pins. Not all 4600's had it...

thank you everyone. DogP got me to the correct info that I once again needed.

None the less I now have a almost burn free BEA-utiful picture k4600 (I think it said k4677)in a vertical frame. Who needs it. I'm just cleaning out the house to move. I will be posting it with pics in the for sale section later on today for $100 cash and carry. want it shipped? send me a box to ship it in.

Larry, I think i have a 100% burn free k7000 monitor for you also if you can use it in your project.

Sorry If i am rambling, I have been burning the candle at both ends for the past 2+ weeks.
