I just swapped a K4600 chassis into my Missile Command, but I cannot get the syncing correct. I double and triple checked all my connections and they all look correct. Is there something I am doing wrong? Something I didnt check?
Was everything ok before the swap?
are you hooked up to + or - sync ( I think MC is + sync so you'd want to connect H to pin 6 and V to pin 5), or.. if you only have composite sync, hook them together.
There are several versions of the Pxxx video interface cards. Some accept only one type of sync signal and some accept both styles of sync. Look at the "P" number on the card and confirm you are connected correctly.

THANK YOU!! That was it. I swapped cards from the original chassis and it fired right up. Though the monitor still needs a complete rebuilt, the sync is back and the game is (kinda) playable.
Be sure to resolder all the cracked solder joints on the connectors for those cards (on both the chassis and the cards!) and check around for other cracked joints.
I've never seen a 4600 that wasn't full of cracked factory solder.
