Hi, I just picked up several WG K4600 monitors. As usual, fresh cap kits are solving some of the problems, but not all. I've decided to follow the Randy Fromm flowsheet and the schematic to fix the rest of the problems. Unfortunately I've had a hard time finding the parts to work on them. I've looked at Mouser, Bob Roberts, GPE and Big Daddy and nobody carries all of the transistors I need. Does anyone know where I can find them? Thanks, --Rich

1) Monitor questions should be in the monitor section. I'm sure a mod will move this one there.

2) If you were more specific as to which transistors you need, we could help you better.

3) A description of your problem may help us determine if any other parts are needed, as the flowcharts aren't always correct or complete.

Also, hopefully you are replacing them because you tested them and found them bad, and not just because the flowchart mentions them...

Hi Modessitt, Thanks for the reply.

1) Sorry if I didn't post this in the correct forum.

2) As stated, in my post. I have several of these monitors. I want a couple of all of the components used on the K4600 so that I can fix whatever specific problem that crops up on each individual monitor. I can post a list of the parts used on this monitor if it is easier for everyone.

3) I have 15 of these. I would rather find the parts and fix them one at a time and be done with it, not diagnose each one, post a request for help, find the specific parts for that particular monitor, fix that monitor and repeat the process 15 times.

I appreciate your feedback on monitor repair procedures. However, I didn't ask for help fixing them, I just asked if anyone knew a good source for the parts. --Rich
