Hi there, I am running into an issue in which the K4600 on my gorf has failed. It was displaying a blank screen until I turned up the brightness, but was met with no horizontal deflection. I also noticed that I had no neck glow but could hear HV. Checking I measured across the heater 0V and with the HV some 12kV. I also checked the B+, it is a little high at 133V, but I cannot adjust it because of the glue in the B+ pot (I will resolve that sometime this week)

Any suggestions on where to start with this one? I recapped it a few years ago and replaced the large paper capacitor as well (originally tested bad) and it was working fine up till a few days ago.

scope out the solder to T603. I had the same issue on a Phoenix last year. the monitor would work for awhile and then go black. if you jack up the Screen you would see horizontal collapse. tore it apart and found that and it's been good ever since. kind of incredible it even worked about 60% of the time though.

Fun fact: I am dumb as hell (and full of barbecue sauce) and the width coil was unplugged. Easy fix.
