I have a WG K4616 that the image is all green. I can't adjust it out, so I think I need to rejuvinate the tube. I don't have a rejuvinator and I would like to get one. Does anyone know which adapter I would need to fit this tube and what rejuvinator would you recommend?

What Ken said :)

I use a B&K 470, and it works well for me. The CR23 adapter is not easy to find, so I just built one myself. The wiring diagram is on ArcArc.

Here's what it looks like. Do you think this is a job for a rejuvinator? The green can't be adjusted out and there are horizontal lines across the monitor. Ignore the dark black stripe across the middle that is just an artifact of the photo.

It does look like a shorted green gun in the picture tube, but just to eliminate the rest of the monitor, desolder and remove the green drive transistor from the neckboard and fire it back up. You should get no green video, but if the tube is shorted, you'll still have that green haze all over the picture. If the haze goes away along with the green parts of the image, then replace that drive transistor.

I wouldn't buy a rejuvinator just to attempt to salvage one tube. There is no guarantee that the rejuvinator will even be able to fix it, some tubes are shorted beyond resurrection. Once you are sure it's the tube, see if there is a local or semi-local KLOV-er with a rejuvinator. Or, take it to a TV repair shop (especially an older TV shop), they should definitely have one.

If it is the tube, another solution is to find a junk 19" TV and swipe the picture tube from that.

I've been wanting a rejuvinator for some time. I've got another monitor that is all yellow. Hopefully I can repair it as well. I'll try the transistor tonight and see if that's the problem.

It wasn't the transistor. I got a BK 467
Followed the instructions in the manual. Now all I have is a white screen that looks like the green one but with no game image
. Any suggestions?

When in setup mode I have kg kb and htr lit but not solid. When in test mode kg is lit solid. After rejuvinate all three guns are in the green zone. But the same lights stay lit. They pass tracking and focus. Maybe I just have a bad brightness pot.

First off, there are two brightness pots - a black one on the neckboard and another on the left daughtercard.

Second, if you're using a BK rejuvenator and the Kg light is staying solid in Test mode, then you have a direct heater short to the green gun and your tube is bad. Find another...

The the black level pot the one on the solder side of the daughter card?

I was afraid you were going to say the tube was bad.

I think the tube IS bad. the Kg light staying on means you have a short that can't be removed with the rejuvenator...
