what would be close enough to work on a k7000 chassis, 14 ohms is what I measured on a 7000 and am looking to tube swap and try the tv coils.

for the yoke if the pic looks good then you are golden.

for the degauss mess up the screen with a magnet and do the power up thing every hour to see if the coil fixes the monitor.

I dont think this degauss coil will work. if I put a resitor in line with the coil to bump up the resistance to 14 ohms would that would or will I just blow up the chassis. the tube looks great, its a 2007 daewoo and is producing a truely awsome picture, if I can get this degausser up and running I will put it in a machine.

ohms is not how you really measure a coil like that any way.
impedance is. but i do not have a meter that will do that.

it just pulses AC for a second any way and i have never not had to manually degauss a monitor any way.

so if it were me either i would swap it out for one off a K7000 tube or i would hook it up and go with it.

i never took stock in them ever fixing a problem any way.
