Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section, this is my first post. I have a JVL Conquest that keeps resetting when it goes into screen saver mode (Shows different games playing) I have replaced the flash card and ram so far with the same problem. it seems like it happens more frequently when I put it on free play and turn on the erotic games (In other words, change the setting) if I leave the settings alone after a factory reset, it will only do it once in a while. I do have an old concorde with a JP-10 and power supply that I can possibly use if it will work. Also the Conquest has the JP-10, not the Jp-20 model. Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated, this machine is starting to nickel and dime me to death.

Thanks in advance!!

I'm not familiar with the Conquest. Does this have the large purple battery
like the Retros ? I've seen lots of weird issues on the Retro when the battery
starts to go bad.

It is the purple battery, and it would not shock me one bit if it was something that simple. I will pull the one from the concorde board, and try it. I will let you know, and thanks for the help.

Just put a meter on it with the machine turned off. It should
read around 3.5 volts.

Alright, I tested the battery and it is fine so that is a no go. I also replaced the motherboard today with the same results. anymore ideas?

Also, I contacted JVL, and they were no help. They don't support the Conquest anymore.

Did you ever find a fix for this? I recently purchased one of these and am encountering the same issues. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Check the operators log, and see if it had a JP-20 in it before. I had the same problem, and it turned out to be that the previous operator had replaced the original JP-20, with a JP-10. JVL told me that it screws up the way that the system operates, and for some reason it starts to throw a unexpected reboot error, which is caused by an overheating issue that really isn't happening. I had to send the bottom tray in to them and pay $200 for reprogramming, and $60 for shipping. I would just load it up with 200 free credits at a time, or set your coin value to 200 credits/.25, It's not worth it especially since you can't go any higher than iTouch 8.

I have it set for free play. Does setting the credit to 200/.25 fix the error? I wouldn't spend anymore money on this. It has iTouch 8 loaded already, I guess it might be what you mentioned.

It fixes it to a point. When you have credits in there, it won't go into screensaver mode, which causes it to reboot. Does your machine lag?
