Hello,

I'm in the process of building a touchscreen jukebox using an old Concorde 3 I picked up off craigslist using E-touch software... in the meantime I'm trying to get the machine up and running on it's itouch 6 software and it's acting really weird...I turn it on and it goes through the bios screen fine...ram checks out...finds the flash drive as master...cdrom as slave...then it goes to fire and it starts going haywire...

some times it doesn't say anything...other times it says FreeDOS FAT Kernal go! and hangs...sometimes it just says FreeDos and hangs...other times it makes it past there and then the linux guy shows and it runs through a bunch of checks and hangs on an init prompt.

i've tried a million things from changing the flash drive, changing the cdrom drive, setting the cdrom as master, trying to perform a reset holding the button down...nothing works...the touchscreen controller is fine...there are no bios beep warnings...

I can't understand for the life of me what would cause the system to do different things everytime I turn it on...there's no rhyme or reason or pattern...I have seen someone mention a purple battery on the board going bad and causing some issues but I can't find any information about this battery and it's putting out 3.5 volts when the unit is unplugged.

To make matters worse my wife insists I'll never get this thing going! HELP! :)

Thanks,
Don
