OK probably not for everybody but this is what I consider to be my personal Holy Grail. Just got this on E-Bay for an awesome deal! If you are part of KLOV then I apologize it went for so cheap but look forward to restoring this little gem for my personal arcade.

Kudos!

From the pictures the water damage doesn't look too bad, and as far as working, it sounds like it behaves like mine, which I think is a communications issue between the MPU and the Vidiot... but I could be wrong.....

I'm really good with wood working so reapairing the top piece of the cabinet and possibly some of the sides is not going to be too dificult. The rest sounded pretty minimal and thanks ArcadeMaze! for your feedback as a current machine owner that it does sound minimal. that will put some of my anxiety to bed.

I'm an Electrical Engineer by trade so I know my way around some wires; just not as sharp as I was right out of school.

Kudos!

Congrats! I've never played one, but it looks like fun and that is a great price! Now you can go nuts with the refurb and turn it into that prized Grail you've always wanted.

Well, I said it sounded like mine... I still haven't fixed it yet. :( Make sure first that you check the flashes on the MPU and the Vidiot on start up.

Give these a whirl, they helped me on the flashes to make sure everything was kosher.

I picked mine up dead from a home owner, he said it stopped working 10 years ago. I figured it was safe, since it was in a home... but I found crayons in the playfield and the fuse holder was missing.... :)

baby pac

just got mine from zork and drove all the way to rhode island to get it. 7 hrs round trip and 200.00 in diesel, it is in my game room. the game is a solid 8. when i got it home it was not working, it would turn on but the screen was frozen. i thought it broke in transit and was very upset. with the help of zork i was able to determine the ball tilt was locked on the tilt switch. removed the ball from the tilt switch and restarted it and it worked. the video game is very hard, was able to score 106,000 after 20 quarters. lied i have it on freeplay! enjoy the baby!

congrats man.. i use to have one of those back in the 80s when my dad worked for aladdins castle.. he brought it home for 50.00 100% working right from the arcade.. Been long gone though. sold it back then... wish i still had some of the games my dad brought home from the arcade back then...
