Yea baby!!!!

I had sent owner a couple of emails - he originally said it was complete but not working...I asked for more pics...

Slight water damage but looks solid.

I will be picking up this weekend!

I love odd machines...this will go well with My Revenge From Mars.

Good score! I miss playing mine. It's been in my garage for two years. :(

I also love my Revenge From Mars. BAD ASS GAME.

Congrats and post some photos when you get it!

Hey John, big fan of your youtube vidoes....

I had my wife watch your video of you playing baby pacman, and that sealed the deal!

Great job on all of your videos,

Chris

PS - why is yours in the garage?

PSS - Marvin has a great write up on this game for repairs that I hope will let me get this thing up and running....thinking I should replace all the bulbs and rubber asap - suggestion on where to get?

I just got a 2nd chance offer on the berzerk.

Mine works fine but cabinet is hosed. BIG TIME. I got a new cabinet for it but just haven't had the time to transfer the guts to it.

Hey Hudson,

So you were the one who bumped it up on me? All good...I wanted this for my wife and as a project for me.
I missed the original buy it now at 200...

My wife is a pacman nut - this is for her birthday next week.

I see prices for these range from 600 on up to crazy...

First time me trying to post a link - this may point to the ebay page:

Pics to come once I get her...

John care to explain..

cabinet is hosed? what is the new cabinet? a donor original?

If in Fact you won this on Ebay? Why is it Listed with a Buy it now? Someone can still buy this out from under you. If in fact you are buying this from outside Ebay from him.

BTW I think that price is alittle high if it has playfield wear and does'nt play right.

Wrong link...sorry like I said first time linking....

Here is the right link ....final price 260.51

Final price to high? Sold as is, but it is about what I was willing to pay for a project.

It is a gift for my wifes bday - she will drive and pick it up herself and stop at some outlets along the way... (so it is costing me more now that really think about it!) Oh well, still is a fair price to pay to keep my wife interested in my latest addiction....

Pinballs in general are higher than cabinets and I have bot and sold some of them as well as motorcycles.

Arcade cabinets are new for me and I am buying a few to enjoy playing but also to learn how to fix and maintain myself.

Thanks,
Chris

Great buy! Baby Pac was actually the first machine I owned that got me into this "hobby" over 10 years ago. Long story short... Ex-wife paid for it, so she kept it when we got divorced. My best friend bought it off of her a few years ago, but was killed in a motorcycle accident. I bought it back from his family for $400. Works perfectly, mylared playfield, NOS drop targets, my repro sideart... Game is as near new as one can find.

Your wife and you will enjoy this game. IMO, it's still the best Pac themed game ever made. Mine won't be sold anytime soon!

I've seen VERY nice, working ones hit $800+. For the price you paid, you have plenty of room so as to not take a loss on it, if you ever sell it.

Congrats and enjoy it! It's an awesome game!

I saw that one as well and wondered what was wrong with it. Those things are a headache and a half but a cheap one might be worth it.

Got it home...have been working on it for hours....

and it is much better than I would have hoped for!

Pinball part is already coming along, checked bulbs, replaced a few.

It is starting fine now after I adjusted the "kill switch" (I know they have a different name).

Reset the switches...interesting with 4 sets of 8 in a row.

Big issue now is that I can see the game wants to start - it looks great and runs through some images (rules, baby with a yoyo). Then I push buttons for 1 or 2, I do see see the startup for 1 or 2 players, but then it will not start the game...seems frozen.

Also, on the bottom corner of the lowest board, there is c42 or c43 that the wire broke - when I attempt to reconnect, it sparks, smokes, and gets super hot.

I will post pics tomorrow.

I appreciate any help,
Chris

Yes it is alive!!! Video and Pinball working....

The game is alive!

WOW!!!

Fuses under the pinball table, tracing a lot of wires and the game is almost ready!!!!

Now the remaining issues seem really minor.

What a great learning experience this has been... from a donor machine to just about fully functional!

More to follow....
Chris

I didn't think you couldn't not get screwed on Ebay. Congrats! Both Baby Pac-man & Revenge from mars are kick -BUT games.
