Just when I thought I wasn't buying any more vids...

I picked this up:

main.php

Won it on eBay for $128.39. The fuses were removed and when I replaced them the game plays blind. It has the Matsushita TM-202G in it which I have read can be fun :) I've got a brand new WG I might just drop in there.

The trackball needs to be rebuilt badly. The bezel and marquee are in excellent shape. I need to find more cheap games like this one!

Nice work

I was watching that one on ebay because it was so close. Glad went to a KLOV member. Didn't he have an asteroids too?

Great game, looks clean, and it's complete. Even if it has the "MassivePieceOfShita"* monitor, you practically stole it.

Is repairing that monitor any different than any other monitor? I am unaware of anything that is hard to get or expensive, parts wise. i know that they are deemed "unreliable" but once they have been fixed perhaps that changes.

Very nice, MegaHuge. :)

*stolen for some other KLOV'r. Dokert? Modessit? KLayton? Dunno for sure.

Stupid awesome deals falling your lap. I hate it when that happens. Especially when I have money earmarked for say, more pins. Grr.

Very nice, I picked up a good deal as well on ebay yesterday. Won an Asteroids that plays blind for $200.00. Picking it up Saturday.

I don't think so but I'm in laziness mode at the moment :) I will probably pull this monitor, put in my new one until I can find time to repair the original. #s match on everything but the monitor.

He did, someone in MD is coming down this weekend to pick it up. He also had a Joust but that person is in OH or MI and hasn't contacted him yet to finalize the purchase.

Or parts to rebuild existing project pins like I have :)

Congrats!

Is that the original CPO? Is it possible to have a peed with a beat up track ball but not a beat up CPO? A lot of original ones have mega bad wear and rust around the ball. That CPO looks pretty darned good. Great looking game. Yeah, I would kick that Mats out of there and go with the brand new Wells. Congrats on the get.

Thanks! Yup, believe it or not it appears to be the original. It has some normal stress cracking at the bend but other than that its pretty nice. I will just keep the original for now and enjoy playing the game.

very nice pickup. pede's seem to be in short supply in the denver area lately. the few i know of have gone for a pretty good price.

LOL! Good song, never heard that one!

Well I got the Centipede up and running! I installed my D9500 last night and it fired right up. I'm just waiting for the new trakball, rollers and bearings to arrive.

What a difference a new ball and bearings make:

It was really dirty as expected. I think the CP is nice enough to keep original. I really wish Atari set this game up for both left and right handed players, I feel like they snubbed us lefties with this setup :)
