Just wanted to Thank this forum for everything over the years...

I recently moved to SoCal and have always loved the arcade scene. I work in hotels and move every 3 years and have lived around the country. I needed a Neo Geo unibios installed and met a cool member from the forums named Chris. I went to his place and he helped me get it installed while I played tons of games and chatted about old consoles.

Just wanted to thank this forum and its members, Ive met a lot of cool people around the country who share the same passion for vintage arcades as I do. Its awesome to see so many people who love the same thing I do and are generally interested in helping other people. Thank you Klov and thank you all!

Welcome to Socal.

There are a lots of good people and groups out here.

I host a repair party over at banning CA. We volunteer to repair over 400 arcade machines.

There is SC3 which does a party every so often they are into console games and arcade machine. They are a great group of guys.

There are arcades and barcades places to visit.

I wish there was a like button here on KLOV...or is there? lol

Yes, members, all things arcade related. LOVE IT!

Beyond the occasional drama that pops up once in a while, I can't see this hobby being the same for me without this place. I learned the majority of what I know about arcade & pinball from this place.

Hopefully we will see you at next year's Golden State Pinball Festival, Arcade Expo, and of course California Extreme. And if you really want to get deeper into the arcade scene, Make the trip up to Idaho for Grinkfest next October. Lots of Californians make the trip up each year (as do over a couple hundred other collectors from all over) and it's definitely worth the trek.

KLOV makes you appreciate the games and the collectors which own/repair/restore them. Nuthin' wrong with that (nor the occasional "drama" to boost the adrenaline in our aging arcade bodies ...). :)

Thanks for the kind words OP for this forum and the members ... hope you settle down one day and have a nice collection of your own to enjoy.

the only flaws that KLOV has are flaws you will find in ANY internet community.

but with that out of the way, YES, KLOV is an awesome community with great folks.

I swear an unending oath of fealty to the House of KLOV

I'm hoping to find something like this in CT. Haven't so far. :( Work keeps me busy, but I'm still looking.

Yes and no... Look for the little "scale of justice" icon in the upper right corner of the post. It's not exactly a "like" button, but it's close. It adds to the "Reputation" of the poster, and you can leave a message as well.

Been helped numerous times myself and I too appreciate all the good people here. There are some really smart guys here who freely give their time to help out and it makes this hobby much more enjoyable for us all. This forum has given me the confidence and guidance to repair things I never thought I could. Thank you KLOV!

And you have a better appreciation and sense of pride for being an owner of a ZAXXON. :D
