just started restoring a 1973 chicago coin commando !!

ok guys, the first 2 pics are pictures of the INSIDE walls of the commando machine. i am wondering what to do/how to fix this. there seems to be a stiff long piece of plastic on both sides. the plastic is all curling and discolored badly.......has anyone ever repaired or replaced anything like this? its not really reflective stuff.....i have reflective stick on paper but it might make a mirror effect inside the game when turned on....? any ideas/suggestions?

i really enjoy fixing these old EM arcade games and shooting galleries (when i can find them) the last picture is the next game i want to fix. its a old SAMI (surface to air missle interceptor)
