Building this machine 3 years ago is what got me into this hobby. It's not the best MAME rig, but it's surely not the worst either. My kids love it and will miss it, but it's time for it to go. Thank you MAME rig for all the memories and steering me to arcade game restoration/collecting :004_scry:

I put it up on CL for $599 and got a call in about 15 minutes. The guy offered me $500 and I said OK. I only had about $250 in it and the kids and I got our fun out of it. He can't pick it up until late May when he's out my way, but paypaled me half to hold it!

I suppose I could've listed it for $1599 and said something like these game aren't around anymore and you'd spend $1000 or more for each of these games separately ;)

Looks like you got a pretty good price for it considering you had $250 into it. At least you and the family can enjoy it for a while before he picks it up. :)

Yeah, I thought I could make $250 on it, let the kids play it for a few more weeks and let 'er go!

Its ugly, but def looks better than that Roethlisberger fathead.

Funny.... the guy in his avatar sure looks like a fat head to me. Who the F is that anyway?

MAME got me back into it too. I think my original MAME cab would have to be the last game out if I ever decided to start getting rid of stuff. The dedicated stuff is great, but I'll never have room for all the games I like to play!

The greatest relief pitcher of all time, and quite possibly the one of the greatest human beings on the planet.

Yeah, I thought about the space issue too, but recently I've found myself only playing my dedicated games. When my brother comes over, we play NBA Jam for a while but still end up playing my other games more. I can always put another one together pretty easily.

My kids do love it, but it'll be summer soon and they need to be outside dammit! ;)
