...Ball!

Yeah, made ya look :p

But seriously, this popped up on CL for a cool $100 and I couldn't hop in the truck fast enough. It works flawlessly and is in great overall shape. It is missing the coin mech (and paint can I assume) and does have a credit button added on the side.

I really know nothing about this game and haven't had a chance to research it yet. Any value here? Was Bushnell behind this one? It was released same year as Pong. Fiberglass cabinet with high gloss glitter finish much like Computer Space, I'm guessing? It's feather light too.

Also scored a bunch of marquees, pinball manuals & pop bumper caps. I'll get another thread started on that.

That is in STUNNING condition. Considering how nice it looks and the fact it works, I woulda jumped on it too! I ran out of room months ago, but I would have made room for that.

Amazing find! Now that is a rare bird for sure.

The high voltage wire looks odd. Almost like an alligator clip. That can't be factory can it?

That looks to be factory..I worked on a a few of these sets bitd.....

I noticed that too. Looked sketchy to me, but I know nothing about these old tube TV's. Can anyone shed more light on this? How does the tube hold it's charge without a cap on the anode?

Regardless it's working with a good picture.

Freaking awesome!

I was just clicking my obligatory click because it was a Computer Space post, and BAM!

Even cooler!

Nice score. Is it any fun? Unlike a certain other game by the same company... :D

What's the coin bucket look like?

What a great grab! Drop me a line if you ever consider selling it.

Yes, that sketchy clip on the TV high voltage is original. You have to consider this is a TV set, not a monitor. GE didn't intend for folks to run it without the back half of the cabinet.

Looks to be a bit newer than CS TV set. Looks like the high voltage doesn't use the old rectifier tube, probably something 'newer'.

Great looking game!

Tom

Congrats on the cool find. I picked up a Computer Space Ball myself a few weeks ago, but mine is the original green cabaret version; I say "original" because mine is model 727B, while your upright is model 727C, and mine has a lower serial number. That being said, the fiberglass one is much cooler looking than the green one by far.

One question, is yours showing 11 - 11 on the attract screen, because mine always starts at 1 - 11, and how could both players get to the winning score on the same game?!?
