Just picked up a game called Alien War today with Mike.

It's not on KLOV but Mike found a flyer for it.

It plays a lot like Scramble.

Anyone know anything about the company EASTERN that made it?

The cabinet is in excellent condition and it has a 19 inch monitor in it.

The pic is from the seller. I was hoping the hot chick was included but she wasn't.

I just wanted to say that game looks really cool. I've never heard of it, but I personally appreciate it when someone posts up pics of an off the wall game. Its nice to see the rare ones. Sorry I can't help you with any history on it, though. Hey if it plays like Scramble its gotta be cool!

I have had a few of that style cabinet. Seems alot of generic games were put in those...kinda a nice size.

Congrats.

Yeah, I like the odd ball stuff as well as the classics. A few years back I came across a countertop game called X-Hot Stuff. It's also not on KLOV. Still have it and have never seen another one. It is a Pac-Man theme game but of an X-rated nature. The company AMERICANA also made the game you see in the movie Joysticks.

You should submit it to klov, it seems like a very oddball game.

You know, I really like obscure games like the one you found. I wonder how many other "Alien War" cabinets are left.

heh checkout the ms pac/galaga ripoff cab in that flyer....

must be another one of those here today gone tommorow bootleg companies that went bust in the mid 80s..

either that or they got sued by the midway police...

cool man.. whats the statue of the GIRL next to the machine??? Looks like barbarella..

Looks like a legless Real Doll in a fantasy themed (nicely matching the suit of armor further to the right) bra. Having worked in ISP abuse depts for a bunch of years, I know the sort of people who'd go in for barbarian amputee realdoll adventures are out there, I just try really hard not to think about it too much. I really, really, really, really, really would suggest given the picture environment that you santize the shxt out of the cp before playing it much more if you haven't already, heh.

SRW neat pickup, hopefully you got a good deal or the fun factor is enough to justify the price. :) Get some pictures of the cab and gameplay up so we can all be jealous. :)

Great GOOGLY MOOGLY!!!!

That is an Artic/ATW brand cabinet as are all the ones in the Eastern Micro flyer. They are responsible for the vast majority of mystery cabinets out there. I have seen tons of different bootleg games in them (often on bootleg Galaxian hardware). They mixed and matched artwork so much and I have never seen two of them that actually matched each other completely.
