Hello Everyone,

I recently acquired this jukebox in a barter deal. It was serviced by a technician prior to me picking it up. It works but not perfect. I have to turn it off an on a few times before it starts grabbing and playing records. When it's running it works great! When I select a song, it makes some noise and seems to register the selection but then nothing. Does anyone have a service manual and or experience with these jukeboxes?

It's really cool :)

Hey Ken,

Thanks for the links, I just bought the combo package you sent. Do you have any ideas what would cause the issues I'm experiencing?

Hello kmk68sin,

You may have issueswith finding anyone who knows anything about these jukeboxes, the model you have got dates from 1958 to 1959 and the jukeboxes across the range were only built from 1957 to 1961. They were styled by Raymond Loewy who also designed the iconic 1947-48 Filben FE-305 Maestro (only about 10 left world wide and it is name your price and would be well into five figures or maybe more).

The assetts of United were incorporated in Seeburg in 1964.

If you go onto the Archive Section on www.jukebox-world.de the Stamann site you will see there is limited information but there are some good pictures of the interior of the jukebox showing the mechanism and the amplifier etc.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help and advice. I got the jukebox working much better now. I let it play records over and over until it stopped completely. I guess it had too many selections stored which is why it wasn't working. (too many cooks spoil the broth) Now it picks up the selected record. A good cleaning and some scratch free records should make this beauty good to go. :)
