Just Moved (back) to Okinawa, Japan

I did 3 years Air Force at Yokota, definitely an eye opener, lol! So different from the states. Had a great time though, did manage to hit Akihabara and also the fertility festival, that is truly one not to miss!

I was there in 1991, and I don't remember any arcades. Just a bunch of pachinko places. There was a little restaurant right across from Camp Courtney called Taco Pete's. I used to get the beef yakisoba there regularly, and that was fantastic. It was probably just cheap fast food, but I remember really liking it after all of these years. Taco Pete used to bring by a can of Iced coffee when he went home at night if he saw I was at the front gate. Really nice guy, and I never even found out his real name. Lol

Bumping this up in hopes someone local to me sees this. So far no go on any arcades. Pretty much everything is an amusement center (i.e. crane and gambling machines). I saw 4 Viewlixes at the Sega center running Tekken 7, but that is it, From fumbling around on Yahoo auctions, there is a Sega Astro City for $250. I'd get it, but I don't know if they would ship to Okinawa. Maybe someone on the mainland can help with the auction? PM me. I get my five arcades(Tempest/Asteroids Deluxe/Defender Multi/DKjr/Millipede) delivered on Tuesday with all of my belongings. I really hope they made it ok. I personally packed them myself with multiple layers. We'll see.

Received my household items this week to include the 5 arcades. Everything survived the boat ride over and powered up.
