For help with the rtc error, see dogp or mr. Sinister. I don't see the top motion bar in the pic, but you got that too right? Great pick up for the price

ha! namco cybertainment!
neat game, fun to play.
very tall, though.

"remove hat when playing"

If I was going to get a game that pissed off my wife if most definetly choose a better one LOL
50 bucks would be hard to pass up though

Awesome... such a fun game... can't beat it for $50! And nice wall art. \m/

DogP

For 50 bucks, keep the monitor, part the game out for more $$ = wife will be much happier with you.

I can fix your rtc error and even have the rtc's and compact flash for the 911/2 conversion. Also your missing the bezel art around the monitor. I have an extra 911/2 bezel that you can apply to the glass. Let me know if your interested.

If you get the 911/2 CF and key, you can go back and forth between 911 and 911/2 at will... you just need to re-calibrate the guns each time. I moved my PCB to where I can reach in my coin-door and change out CF cards...

That's only if you use the dongle. If you swap the compact flash and have the 911\2 rtc there's no calibration needed.

I moved it to it's new place in my garage and started assembling the sensor bar in anticipation for the PCB coming back from MrSinister and hit a snag. I thought I misplaced some bolts but upon closer inspection it looks like the previous owner broke three of the four bolts off in the game holding the side bar at the bottom. Does anyone know how much of a pain in the butt it would be to get the three broke ones out? Or do you think I'll be fine with just the one? All the other bolts are fine.

Frankly, I almost didn't install my side bars... it would make "fitting" the game easier. Unless you think your kids are going to hang off the sensor bar, I'm guessing just one will be plenty...

Oh neat. I saw that thing on craigslist but mainly passed on it due to the size and the fact I never really played the game much.

LOL, I have family in Massachusetts, maybe next time I visit.

She gets mad at the craziest shit but I enjoy a challenge, espically the challenge of calming her down. It's kinda our "thing", she loves the players and I love the game.

I might leave them off then, I just assumed it needed them for support.

I had been eyeballing it for weeks, I had just sold one of my broken claws so I scooped it up. I never played it much either but I'm new to the hobby and I'm hungry to fill my garage. I've spent 50 bucks on much stupider things.

Got most of the bolts/screws in and it feels pretty sturdy. Pardon the mess, I'm in the middle of rearranging the garage

Yeah not bad at all! I see you also got that weird Nintendo cabinet too I had seen on local CL! How are things coming along with that? What do you plan on doing to it?

I think I might have mentioned this in the past... but I have that same Slayer banner.

:D

I put a new base on it, new marquee fixture, replaced the bulbs in the coin slots, disassembled and cleaned the joysticks, took out the coin mechs and rigged it to take tokens. I still need to cut off the tops and bottoms of the sides and replace them due to damage but I gotta wait until I get a biscuit joiner and a sander. I'll put Nintendo boards back in it once I find some. Crime Fighters is fun but it gets old after a while.

USPS website says my fixed board will be back from MrSinister today, I can't wait. Can someone else who owns this post a picture of the board? Mine has a heat sink and fan on the CPU that he doesn't think came like that from the factory.
