I just bought a new really never been used D9200 27" tri-sync monitor for $300 from a local collector (David Putsch). Literally the mounting bracket holes have never seen bolts........ I know there are certainly some issues in regards to some older versions of this monitor......but this one is pristine I must say. I'm just hoping it will last until I can find it a actual cabinet and game to use it with, otherwise it will sit next to my workbench if I want to test some games that have a more difficult time with scan converters. Works pretty good right now, had a fun time adjusting the color with one of my medium res games.
Wanted to ask a question though, I know there was board revisions to the whole setup so they have improved on some of the design flaws....not all. I wanted to check if anyone here knew of the board revisions that were less prone to failures?
The chassis is a Revision: N
The neckboard is a Revision: F
The small board that is perpendicular to the chassis....don't know what its for.....is a Revision: B
I also know there was a factory OSD secret. Does anyone know how to access it?
....On a sidenote I got to finally test my stubborn Virtua Fighter board set......no video whatsoever. Think my 3D graphics Board is dead........
