Just got a Baby Pac, need to fix

You have "x" seconds to hit the center drop target and then the arrow advances. Then "x" seconds to hit it again and so on. If your center target is dropping by itself or not resetting that could be causing the timer to fire on its own.

Yeah I'm Todd's video after X seconds the target goes down by itself. On mine it only goes down if I hit it. Otherwise it's up all the time.

In the solenoid test, does the knock down solenoid work on the center target?

You have three small solenoids on top of the target bank that are hard to access. One drops the left target, the center, and the right target.

Edit: I watched the video around the 1:49 mark and the center target is dropping on the timer correctly. It looks like you hit the center target but the arrows never advanced (as the arrows advance you have less time to hit the target). With the longer wait to drop the target, its hard to notice and it wont even happen if you drain quickly. The arrows did light in the lamp test though, so I bet your center drop target switch is not working.

Yeah in pretty sure of that too, it's probably the wiring.

You're welcome. Makes me want a Baby Pac now. Just a couple notes to help you out too.

The green Bally sockets are the suck; if you have lamp problems again in the future, which hopefully you don't, the sockets themselves are also a prime suspect (which in this case they weren't, but they could be one day). I've had a number of Bally pins over the years and without fail have had a couple bad sockets here and there.

If you wind up getting more pins of that era, invest in some good Waldom crimpers. They make doing those stupid little .100 pins much easier. A set new is big $$$ (for a pair of crimpers, anyway), but you can find perfectly working ones for much cheaper on eBay if you wait. I bought a set for all the different pin sizes as I found them for a good price. So glad I did. :)
