I know it's not that popular with many, but just wanted to perhaps inform others if having the same issues as I was. Had a Xevious sitting in the garage for several months now and on a whim decided to take another look at it... the issue I was having was garbled graphics, not coining up, and resetting all accompanied by sound issues. I think I pulled and cleaned EVERY chip off this thing months back. After looking over the board again, I decided to move the Z80 CPU's around (there are 3 on this board), doing so changed the issues I was having and was able to coin up but not play, and it would pass rom check in test mode. Kept moving them around and finally found the bad chip, replaced with one off another board and it's alive! I know it's a simple thing, and probably should have checked it earlier but hoping my success will help others... feels great to get it working!

That's cool man, another board saved! I've never had an Xevious that worked right, I've had like 3 of them. they all had scrambled graphics. I'm getting better with a logic probe, so I'm going to try to fix the next one.

Ranch, I don't have an extra Z80 for Rampage. Mat Mania didn't have one neither. Will need to order one or sneak into your garage tonight.
