Just finished restoring an original Asteroids cocktail.

Picked up this Asteroids for $50 last Thursday - was in pretty rough shape and had no glass.

First thing I did was put a new power switch in it as it didn't power on.
When it did power on the screen has serious tracers - so after doing a little bit of
research I found the contract and brightness knobs and dialed in the monitor.

I then painted the cabinet, stand, moldings and top glass brackets. Put a new lock and key in, replaced the coin door light, put new rubber feet in, had a piece of glass cut (3/16") for it and had a local company reverse apply a new underlay to the glass. It looks and plays like a dream.

Total cost for everything - game included - was just under $225.

Looks good. I have one myself that I am working. I am converting mine into a Missile Command because it's missing the vector monitor and I have a raster on hand. Where did you get the black molding that is on top? Mine is all dry rotted.
