Just curious, why would horizontal hold cause HV shutdown on a Sanyo EZ?
I was working with the Sanyo EZ in my DK Jr. cab and the horizontal hold was off. Adjusting the H-Hold would cause the monitor to shut down. Not only that but when the hold was not adjusted correctly the monitor would not stay on for more than a few minutes, even if I didn't adjust the H-hold. To get the H hold dialed in I had to power on, make adjustments, hope it didn't shut down while I adjusted, and then re-try after I got a shut down. Eventually I got it dialed in.
After I got the H hold locked in it was totally fine, no more shutdown. I've heard of the B+ causing HV shutdown but never the H Hold adjustment. Any idea what's going on there?
