now for some ?

is this an original mb cab or is a converted dk
how do i tell
is there a source for the 2 way joys
and what does the repro art run(or does anyone have nos stuff here for a descent price)

it's a dedicated widebody mario. the converted dk cabs are narrower and have the speaker slot on the left side. nice score!! add this to the widebody registry!!

for your joysticks, check mikesarcade.com
for the side art - arcadeshop.com

Awesome! :)

The repro CPO will run you around $60 and the side art will run around $100. Plus shipping. I still have yet to buy either.

cool thanks guys anyone got a link to the registry

im hoping to get her back to her original glory soon

there is a large chunk missing on one side that has been filled with some kind of goop (doesnt look like either bondo or wood filler )
and the cp needs to be redone
but other than that just needs paint and side art
monitor workes great with perfect picture

simpsons99
what do you mean wheres the monitor you can see it in the pic form the backside lol

Wow, great score! Before I saw the picture, I thought "$100 for a working MB is not bad", then I saw that it's a widebody, damn! So what's the story - it was outside under a tarp (in the rain:eek:) but how did you find it? Congrats, and thanks for saving a true classic.

it was listed on craigs list out here for 150
some guy was sposed to pick it up last night but ended up showing up 2 hours late and the owners were not home(called him last night and he said someone was on their way)

so i called this morning and rushed out there asap and scored lol
he also has a duck hunt but does not want to sell it

cool thanks for the pics

now that i have move it in and started cleaning it up im trying to adjuts the screen roll wtf these damn ninty monitors are crazy i cant for the life of me get it to stay still i will get it to stop but the pic will be rolled over (top of screen on bottom ,bottom on top) and as soon as i unplug it and plug it back in it starts agin

is this a cap ishue or do you all think cleaning the pots with some cleaner may fix the problem

Congrats on your first Nintendo cabinet. You have now officially been bitten by the Ninty bug. :)

A new CPO, side-art, black paint touching up, and a good cleaning will bring that thing back to life!

They look nice when they are cleaned up, here's mine:

Nice. Awesome score. Wish this deal was around a few months ago. I went ahead and bought a conversion cab. Another difference in the widebody's is the CP height, about 4" taller than the DK cabs.

Congrats on the game.

Now, I dont mean to sound like an old fart but is it really that hard to type "nintendo?"

Ninty??? Who thought of that?

Matt

ther eis another guy local with a popey but he hasnt budged off his 150 asking price i may call him if he still has it once i finish my multi thats going out the door monday/tuesday

Great game at an even better price! Love those widebody's...

User "Jowseph" runs the Nintendo Mario widebody list. I think its in his signature, but not positive.

cool thanks

well the screen roll problem seems to have fixed itself im guessing it had to do with the fact the game sat outside in the rain im betting it had some mostiure somewhere
now its stays pretty steady it will every once in a while start to roll but no where near like it started out and it semms to just get better and better

here she is man it really does have a nice pic
