Hey everyone,

Just picked up Lethal Enforcers as a fun addition to our garage bar. Everything starts up fine and works, except the guns do not register in the screen. When you press the trigger they do flash, but nothing hits in the screen.

The help section says to adjust the brightness (it wont let me via the game, is that inside the cabinet?) and to degauss the monitor and clean everything. I'm pretty handy but have no idea where to even start with this outside of cleaning everything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check the gun connections at the PCB inside the machine. Make sure it's connected and not flipped.

So I got the brightness upped and cleared off the glass and that id the trick! I flipped them and the PCB does work, same gun works in both ports, so its either the 2nd gun or the wire. Is there a guide on how to test the gun/wires with a multimeter?

Sorry, I'm really tired, so I'm confused. Does one gun not work? Like the blue gun works for either player one or two, but the pink gun doesn't work? Or are you getting just a white flash when you pull the trigger?

If you go to the gun calibrate screen there's a bunch of small boxes you are supposed to aim for. Can you "hit" any of those boxes? Or do none go away?

For instance, on my board, I can clear all the boxes with either the pink gun or the blue gun when testing player one under calibrate. When I try the player 2 calibrate, there are 3 boxes on the lower right I cannot "hit," irregardless of which gun I use. Since I can clear all the boxes on player one with either gun, I know both guns work and I know the monitor works. Since the 3 boxes on player two I can't hit, the most likely explanation is the chip(s) on the board are being funky, since I could hit those boxes with the same guns, lighting, and monitor.

Now, I have to look up which chips are relevant, but there is a known section of the board that controls registering the shots, so those are the most likely culprits.

So for you:
1. Can you hit any or all the boxes in the gun calibrate menu for players one and two (i think it says gun 1 and gun 2 in the menu)?

2. If you can't hit ANY boxes with either gun and on either player, then your monitor, lighting, guns, board, or wiring is the problem.

3. If you CAN hit some or all of the boxes, can you hit the same boxes for each player with the same gun?

If so, at least the sections of the monitor you can hit is working properly. If its different boxes you can hit for player one vs. Player 2 it's probably a chip problem.

4. If you CAN hit some or all of the boxes, can you hit the same boxes with either gun?

If there's a difference between the guns, thanks wiring, cleaning, or gun function is the problem.

You can use a multimeter to look for continuity to see if there is a break in the wire/circuit.
