Tada. Figured i would shoot a quick video tonight. It only took 8 mins to make, and hours to upload to youtube lol. Thanks at+t!!

Looks great Mike. Nice variety you have there. I like how everyone has their own way they set up things, and their own tastes in games. Thanks for sharing

Your poor kid! When you show him that video in 5-10 years he's gonna be like "Dad, WTH didn't you put pants on me before you posted that on Youtube!"

lol great vid, love the ghetto stuff. the kid hitting the absolute dispenser all of it!

Great video.

A few things:

Love all the lights. Especially the blue scanner lights on the floor. So cool. I think lighting like that really gives an arcade a cool feel.

Whats up with kids always wanting to have their pants or shirt off? Right now, my 2 year old is hanging out in the living room with just a diaper on. My 4 year old has pants, but no shirt on. They both were dressed this morning. I guess kids just like being naked or something. LOL!

Lastly, you have an After Burner AND a G-Loc right next to each other. Awesome. I love it.

Cool arcade ! I see you had to get rid of the projector for the pins . Too bad you couldn't keep both . You said at the end of the video , for insurance reasons you filmed all your stuff , if theres a fire you could use the video as proof for the insurance people to reimburse you ?

I was thinking the other day , like what happened to arcadejunkie , if there was a fire and all my games would burn up that it would really suck !!

Damn i used to have a cool light up see through phone like that when I was a kid. Was my first phone! I want it back!! Mom threw it away at some point when I was in high school.

Nice arcade video!! Love the lighting!

THe projector is still there, i just didnt have it on. Its mounted on the wall to the right of the pins, projecting off to wall left of the pins. The wife made me a screen, i still need to get it hung better.

I started the room on a shoestring budget of course and after wiring i had enough money for a couple gallons of flat black paint and blacklite bulbs. I picked up some second hand florescent lights for free that i put half and half blacklite/regular lights in so i can both party and service games depending on which switches i turn on.

From there the rest is just random crap. Blue lights came off of a car at work(they have 20 or so different modes). They run off of a secondhand atx power supply. The revolving light came out of a old tow truck, runs on the same atx, the strobes came off of another car, runs on the same atx, and the red neon for the fire extinguisher?? yep, another car, runs on the same atx. THe red rope lights??? came out of another car lmao.. seeing a trend here?? Thats the perks of working at a car lot fellas.

FYI the dispenser my kid was playing with just dispenses water lol.. i wouldn't have let him carry a cup of absolut around lol. Its nice to have somthing to drink down there besides beer, because to be honest im not much of a drinker anymore. Refreshments of one form or another have always kind of been "wish i had this doen here" So i put togther that soda fountain and used the minifridge to chill the cold plate. Its all new, (heads, carbonator, lines, everything) and still not hooked up hehe.. at least the mini fridge still has room for beer!!!! My wife got me the popcorn machine for christmas one year and like i said i just got the water cooler(again for free) and it was a simple fix. I like it because it takes the 5 gallon jugs. Even if i spring a leak, i will only be dealing with 5 gallons of water and not a while basement full. My wife picked up a used nostalgia electronics cotton candy maker off of craigslist and i think thats going to sit on top of the popcorn machine for now. It kicks ass, you can make cotton candy from almost any hard candy..

OH yeah those absolut mats came from another car at work..(actually a 02 deville im buying for the mrs, its all fucked up so its cheap but i have to fix it up(imagine that fellas)

The phone popped up a local goodwill for $2, so it came home with me. Oh, the blacklite led strip on it?? Yep, came from work, runs on the same atx..

Its not really what i had envisioned when i was young and dreaming of my own home arcade, but on the null budget ive always had to work with, i think its pretty cool!!

Having the two plane games next to each other is cool!! Its funny though because if you play afterbirner and hop onto g-loc, g-loc is newer with better graphics but it feels like your flyin at the speed of a fart lmao..

I have grand plans for finishing these rooms out and adding another wing, blacklite carpet, the works.. but it will probhably never happen unless i win the lotto or something.

And regarding the pantless kid... he likes to wear clothes all day then at night about 8 or so he usually decides he doesent want to wear pants anymore. WHo am i to say no?? lol.. Im sure he will lovve me for this vid in 10 years im sure :D
