Jurassic Park Lost World pinball thoughts?

I have one and It's my wifes favorite game. I can not compare it to the original because i have not played it but out of the 5 i do have its about all she plays. Make sure the snagger works on the one your looking at. some people dont like it just cause its sega and that keeps the price right around $1000 or so.

I have one. It is an ok to good game. It has a little bit of added kid value with the snagger and the dinosaur egg.

The game is not very complex, but finishing all of the modes and getting to San Diego is very difficult.

I have only played the original JP once, so I can't compare.

Let us know if you snag one.

I've owned a LW NIB since it came out. When clean, it's a VERY fast game. Not especially deep (no stacking), but it has 5 very distinct and challenging modes to activate and complete, plus a MB. The shots are in a nice fan layout, pretty basic, but you have to master all of the shots to do well. (There is not a single shot needed to complete any mode that is also used to complete another mode!) The shaker motor is pretty beefy too.

One downside: the video mode is the worst one I've seen in any pin--just dumb.

Many pin fanatics who have never played this game before really get hooked on it when they come over and play mine. I think it's a bargain game at going prices. Again, not hugely depep but a fast challenging game with a good assortment of shots/modes.

Does any one own both a JP and a LW? I'm leaning towards the original JP, but I haven't played either. Maybe I'll get lucky and find both in the wild...

JP always gets better reviews than LW, and sells for more even though it is older than LW.

I have only played JP once at an auction, so I can't give an opinion on that one.
