I've got a Jurassic Park machine which I've had for about a month. This past monday I turned the game on and the DMD did not light up. I cleaned all the connections and turned it on and this time it did turn on but with static. The Jurassic Park video is displayed but it is surrounded by static on the screen as well. According to the previous owner the Power supply board and the DMD are pretty new. Looking at the boards themselves I am inclined to believe him but that still doesnt mean they're fine. I'm not sure about the board that controls the DMD.
Any ideas? I really dont want to buy a new DMD if this isnt the problem. Is there any way to test to see if a DMD is good? Thanks!
