Hello, I'm new here and new to the world of arcade machine repair I have several cabs I've picked up for very cheap to start my journey.. The first I worked on and completed was a Blitz cabinet which was pretty painless.. Now however I have moved on to tinkering with a Jurassic Park 3 machine by Konami... Everything seems operational but the light guns do not register.. I took them apart and Gun number 1 the tip is broken off the board. Gun number 2 appears fine but also does not register in calibration. Would the 1st player gun being busted stop the player 2 gun from working as well? There is no option to calibrate separately. I've searched ebay and the net to find new guns to just swap them out but I'm hitting dead ends when looking. A few local repair guys told me good luck finding Konami replacement anything.. what should my next step be?

This is the gun the game uses:

http://na.suzohapp.com/amusement/optical/96210017.htm

I think the part# is : 96-2300-10 - that is what Happ says.

This is a very common gun. There are a bunch of these on Ebay for about $25 less than Happ.

My guess is that your problem is either the guns, the gun hoses or the gun board. A replacement gun includes the gun hose. In these guns I believe the gun board is separate and is a HAPP Universal Optical Light Gun Board TYPE II, but you should confirm this. I think this is around $30 on Ebay. No sure what Happ charges for it.

Awesome I will start looking for a website or ebay to pick up a couple of new guns and pcb boards from. I'm also currently looking for a new 49 Way Joystick the cheapest I've seen online is through a website called westcontols.com has anyone delt with this site and is it legit?
