Strange quirk in my junkyard.

When I fire it up and press start it keeps sending out balls and cycles through balls. If I then turn it off and back on (and press start) everything works 100%.

Not a big deal but a little annoying...any ideas?

JY goes through an initialization process upon power up. There are 4 balls in the game. One is always kept in the refrigerator popper, and three in the trough. This expedites the gameplay. When you turn the game on, it may (or may not) go through the process of spitting the ball out of the fridge, then serving another ball back to it via the plunger lane. This is normal.

I had a situation with a JY where the wires from the opts on the fridge weldment under the pf were poorly connected (soldered) to the optics, and it was causing intermittent ball serving from the fridge and the trough. Make sure those wires are properly soldered, and not broken, or barely hanging on.
