I was down in Long Beach with my daugther this afternoon. As you may have read, they are having an arcade game auction next weekend in an empty retail space down there at The Pike. The games are already there so we were able to look in the windows and see what's going to be sold off.

Looks to be a lot of large projection TV games from the Gameworks across the street, some second tier driving games, a Jurassic Park environmental cabinet and a house of the dead 1, but generally speaking it's pretty lame. There is a lot of office furniture in there for sale. Paying $60 to bid on that stuff seems to be really stretching it.

So who went to this? The auction is today and I know they had a Robotron. worthwhile? details? M1A (Todd) did you end up going?

it was a robotron in a wooden looking cabinet like something out of the Beverly Hillbillies. They used to have these at gameworks, if you remember what they looked like. They had other classics in those ridiculous looking cabinets at Gameworks. I also heard it wasn't working....
