Ok I know it can be done, wondering if anyone here has done it and what they've used.

I have more old PC's that i know what to do with and i was thinking why not make a couple into a Home Jukebox. I'd like the front-end or menu to look like a true old juke not display album art (but if there's an option for both that's fine). I won't be using a touchscreen just a standard pc monitor w/ mouse and keyboard.

This is what i'm looking for (for the most part)

I was going to check out a program called BoxEasy Jukebox tonight just to see how it works and if it's what i'm looking for, but i thought maybe some others here might have already attempted this and might have some input.

I've found a couple lists of programs from these links here, if anyone recognizes anything on those that i should check out please let me know. Thanks guys!

That screenshot is from DWJuke .... http://dwjukebox.com/.... and that is also the software I running inside my juke.

For an even cleaner setup, I'd look at getting something like a KeyWizEco for using buttons to operate the juke functions.

i downloaded aussiejuke1700 and i'll get dwjuke also.

if i decide to stick it in an old juke (pending i find one cheap) i'll definitely look into keywizeco as you recommended :D

I'm putting one in a old juke, but am going with the touchscreen and software that looks like what you see in the bars and pool halls nowadays:
