Im looking for a model type that plays 45 and can't find what i'm looking for...i have seen it on tv at one point in a movie and can't find it only....when the juke would grab the 45 it would take it and lay the record horizontally like a normal record player and you could see it thru the top glass. Most of the ones online i see play the record vertically.. what am i looking for model wise?

give scott a call at silverball amusement, he may have one on hand for sale...he completly refurbishes jukes and pinball machines....(218) 547-3200

Hmmmmmm. My Rockola 470 plays the records horz, but you can't see them through the top glass, unless you removed the title strips. Are you talking 1950's, 60's or 70's vintage?

yes i am assuming it would be from the 50's,60's or 70's...but prolly more around the 50's

Seeburgs play the record vertically.

Very late 1950's Rock-ola and Rowe-Ami jukes play horizontally and you can watch the record being put down on the turntable.

Here's a couple of sites with a very comprehensive lists of jukeboxes from the 1930s to the 1980s, with lots of photographs of each, which will give you plenty of choices

This one I've clicked on Rock-Ola, but there are other makes if you click on "Home."

Wow Great site Doghouse. This helps a lot.

Also from what i am seeing Ken is correct. All the seeburgs are vertical and the others have horizontal play.
