Upper left flipper works fine for about 10 minutes after powering the game on.

After about 10 minutes it stops working and after another 10 minutes or so, the bottom left flipper starts to get weak. After powering the game down, the upper left works again, but only for a few minutes.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Walt

First guess is dirty optos on the flipper board. Cleean them with windex and try it again!

I cleaned the optos and took a look for frayed wires/bad connections and all seems fine. Also, the coil is not hot or even warm after the flipper quits.

I did notice something one weird thing though. After the flipper stoped working, I snagged the pinball so the game would go into "pinball search mode" and it started firing off things around the playfield looking for the ball. While it did that, the flipper fired off strong. Would this give any clue to the root of the problem?

I'm still saying it's the board. Swap the opto boards from the right to left, and if the issue moves to your right flippers, you know it's the board. It certainly doesn't seem like the flippers or coils to me. If they are messing up, go into the coil test menu right away. If they are strong, then you KNOW it's got to be in that board.

And check for any cold solder joints on the flipper opto boards.
