Jrok Multi Williams Control Issue "Joust 2P"

I have a jrok multi-Williams and the games all work fine EXCEPT for the player 2 joystick on Joust. It will not move left or right, you can only flap. The joystick works perfectly fine for every other game on the board, just the issue with P2 on Joust. Any ideas? Can you also confirm which wires connect to the switches.
Thanks,

And a couple of pics of how the control panel was wired. Just need to know where the player 2 joystick wires should go.

That's how I got it. I'm trying to clean it. I reconnected the wires on the player two stick and now when moving from left to right it shows flap 1 and flap 2. The current wiring is a rats nest for sure. Any help would be appreciated.

I would just rewire it with all new wires and go from there.

Sounds like the best plan. Is there a wiring diagram out there that shows how to wire all the buttons and sticks. The way it's wired now has some wires being spliced into each other which is very confusing and I'm not sure how it ever worked.

In my post #4 is the link to the jrok pin out.
Just run the wires from each pin to the proper switch.
I just daisy chained all the grounds together.
Make sure you are in the standard button map scheme and not the multi williams map scheme.
Here is the manual. http://www.jrok.com/hardware/wsf/sys_fpga_guide_booklet_single_pages.pdf
There is a lot of good info on those other links provided by Vindog.
