I recenlty Pick up a Joust cab that was converted to a multi williams and is missing the CP and Boardset. I also scored a second Roboroon cab missing the boards. I going to turn the Robotron in to the Multi Williams since it was already painted Grey and save the Joust since the sides still look great.

good luck finding the JROK board. they've become gold.

but on a different note, if you are ok with mame. i just got done testing some "experiments" in mame for sriddle and using the modifcations, mame plays very very very close to real now. :)

Second run of JROK MWMS is in the not so distant future according to my crystal balls... ;)

then i'm going to send an imaginary IM to JROK to put my name on his waiting list.....or am i just imagining things. ;)

thank you!

People have been saying this for almost 3 years now. Finally pulled the trigger myself on a local jrok board. Didn't pay quite as much as some of the one listed here, but definitely paid over original price.

Good luck on the MW project. Mine (in a Defender cab) is almost done. Just waiting on delivery of the cpo and marquee from arcade shop.

Really ? Can you have a look again if the Mylstar Multi will be released before that Williams re-run ?? Because that is probably even more anticipated....

the multi board from phoenix currently has some timing problems for Robotron (joust, etc, not stargate or defender) so it's wicked hard. Sean Riddle has provided timing test results to Clay and the Williams fix will come in the future once the latest roll out is done.

by the way. emulation. so what. with the latest updates i could setup my laptop/jpac into a robotron cab and unless i told you, you'd have no idea you weren't playing the real boards (besides only way it even matters is if you are capable of doing world record 5 man games for twin galaxies and you had that WR desire)

otherwise it's all good fun, emulation or not. ;)

that's fair statement. but i've owned both real robotron and emulated and 19-1 board. put hours of analytical play on each of them. mame has never had someone do comparative testing of the real board to mame side by side, along with the ability of someone to modify the source code. new issues were discovered that were never even thought about before, brings it in close.

i'd put money on this latest batch of changes in the works that you could NOT tell the difference. ;)

Well from where I am sitting this all sounds pretty damn good to me. Mame and Phoenix board becoming almost exact versions of robotron. Jrok doing another run. Damn good news all around. Good job clay, 1500, Sean and anyone else involved in making this happen.
