JR PACMAN BOARD "BAD RWM A O"
does anyone have any idea how to fix this ?
i REALLY appreciate any immediate info as my friend is here working on my games........ thanks and have a great day......... vinny in nj
 
Download the manual off the web and inside it you'll find what RAM chip that the message is referring to.

BUT... a word of caution: The RAM chip error message is distorted. This means the RAM listed as being bad may not be the one listed on the screen. In other words if "0001" is the value in RAM for the number "1" to show on the screen and the contents of the bad RAM are "0011" then the number "3" may be showing.

This just means you may have to do a bit of trial and error chip swapping between the RAMs with the same part # to find which ones change the error message when moved.

PS: Chill. You posted a follow-up in about 30min after your first post? It is Saturday after all. The only reason I saw this is that I checked the forum before heading into the office to work on a special project.
